I thought when I was healed I would be full of joy and happily derving Jesus . Instead I go for a few days without pain to feeling pain . I have been praying almost every single day , I pray for Jesus to protect me and to fix me totally and to make me love Him , I do not want to fear Him , I want to trust Him and love Him .I pray that He make me love Him with all my heart soul and mind . I pray that He teach me His ways His character and lead me in a staight path . I pray He give me revelation knowledge and help me to understand the bible . I pray for Him to change me and make me like Him . I pray He take care of me and make me secure and to know I am secure and safe .

I wonder why I do not feel safe yet . I was complaining yesterday , I feel unable , not strong enough to go out . I have been isolating , something is making me feel scared to be around people , weak not strong enough . I was reading yesterday about all people eventually getting to heaven , that the translaters translated some words wrong , I was hoping this was true and started talking to Mike about it what they said , then Mike was trying to talk me into going to church and I was making excuses because I feel scared , he was saying you cant do this on my own and I was saying even if I go to church I am still on my own because I have no social abilities and my ability to connect seems less now than before I got sick . I was feeling fustrated that though I am praying I do not seem to be getting more secure and more joy and trust in Jesus .

Before I realized it I realized I was feeling hurt at everyone and Jesus , I was crying . I almost said if Jesus does not answer me at home He will not answer me at church and I caught myself and said He will hear and answer from anywhere . Then this condemnation came over me horrible and scary . I went to read on the internet for comfort and the site I found made me feel worse . I am so tired of feeling scared , wondering if I am evil , wondering if I am truly safe in Jesus . I wonder if I am going to do say think or feel something that will make me lose salvation . salvation depends on faith and trust in Jesus and knowing Him and loving Him .

I pray for these things . I cannot change myself I can only ask Jesus to change me . Does these feelings thoughts fear prove I am bad ? How can I make them stop ? Am I on dangerous ground? Am I being rebellious in my heart and do not know it ? Is my lack of faith grieving to God , I want faith I want to be safe . I alwys cry when I think He loves me . What has done this to my faith ? Am I rebellious , sinful , mentally screwed up , I want more than the torment gone , I want my faith full restored , any rebellion gone , to love Jesus the way I am supposed to . Please answer my questions and pray for me and help me . Please help understand whats wrong with me . Jesus bless you.

a friend’s girlfriend kept seeing what she believed was a ghost, but before long the “ghost” began taking over her for breif periods, taking over her voice and actions. the “ghost” eventually began to communicat with my friend, and affecting the urges of friends.
Eventually a christian friend prayed to GOd, and the events ceased. My friend is not a christian, but is now agnostic. he wonders, 1. will the demon return, and two, how to stop it?
Can you give my friend and i some insight

It’s so sad to learn that your friend is no longer a Christian. Many of us seasoned Christians have gone through an experience that almost took us out of the faith.

The only insight I can give you is based on the bible which your friend may now consider to be of little or no value. It’s quite strange that after receiving deliverance through prayer from your Christian friend that your agnostic friend did not totally embrace Christianity. But you probably know better the details on what resulted in leaving Christianity.

According to the Bible it is through Jesus and his work on the cross we receive God’s mercy and deliverance. Jesus was sent to rescue us from paying the penalty of our sins and to overcome the work of the Satan against us. That is why we have such amazing scriptures like:

* “In him we have redemption through his blood, the forgiveness of sins, in accordance with the riches of God's grace that he lavished on us with all wisdom and understanding,” Ephesians 1:7-8.

* “Let us then approach the throne of grace with confidence, so that we may receive mercy and find grace to help us in our time of need,” Hebrews 4:16

*“The reason the Son of God appeared was to destroy the devil’s work,”1Jn3:8

That is why your friend was able to receive freedom when your Christian friend prayed for your other friend. “The prayer of a righteous man has great power in its effects,” James 5:16. “The Lord is far from the wicked, but He hears the prayer of the righteous,” Proverbs 15:29.

This is not to imply God hates non-believers. He loves everyone in this world (that’s why he sent Jesus for everyone) but he does not like the sin and unbelief in us. According to the Bible, which for our ministry is our foundation (and the foundation for Christianity) the only refuge for everyone is following God’s principles. Our principles do not have any power over unseen forces.

I am staying in Munich/Germany - am now 47 years old, have got a job at Telemarketing - and - first of all - I am believing in the Lord Jesus Christ as my personal Lord and saviour since about 15 years.

I am happy that I found your homepage "by fortune" (by JESUS!) and I am struggling and fighting mainly with myselfe.

Meanwhile it means even a problem to me to summ up the several bondages I am in now ( sorry for my bad english) - and I am hardly able, to interpretate my condition - so I wana simply summ up the main symptoms I am fighting with ( and I need to say, that I am close before stopping to fight):

-There is almost no more motivation in me, to act ANYHOW - somtimes I am sitting for hours at home, knowing exactly that I HAD to do so many things - but in deed I am kind of fixed, with unvisible chains

-I lost abilities during the last 3 years (in a rapid way): Playing Piano (I had been in worship-team years before), Singing (what now comes out of me is horrible), Sceduling (whatever)

-Since about 7 years now I become spiritually attacked in an always repeating way (an I only can ask you from the bottom of my heart to take it seriously, what I describe you - although it may sound unbelievable): it is a feeling, as if I would be connected to a high-voltage line - this catches me always flat-footed and usually after (or WHILE) the Lord Jesus Christ tries to give me some gift, some deliverance, a word....and this "Voltage" ALWAYS(!)passes through my body, HEART (!) and soul (I experience this physically and spiritually at the same time) - entering always at my right foot (although this may sound perhapes crazy - but it is the truth!!), passing through me until "it" reaches my heart and then this kind of energy ends up at (in) my mind (brain). I experience this happening regulary like an electic shock.

The very result of this what happened (I only can describe it):

-Forgetting the word(s), the Lord Jesus talked to me
-Disorientation
-Coldness (as if my heart and inner man would have been already died)
-Depression, Hopelesness
-A strong feeling of UNCLEANNESS afterward.

As a longterm result of these "attacks" I need to state that my mental and spiritual freshness and sanity suffered extremely

-Last year my dad died in his high 80s. He was (as far as I can rate him) no christian - he had been involved in his younger years in a german pagan fraternity (had been member there) - also he had experiences with autogenic training, scribology and had been preconditioned in a certain occult direction. He showed (particulary during his last year here on earth) a very bad temper and a formally bad and evil charisma around him. He was TOTALLY dependent in my mom - and dad had had 3 strokes (as my grandpa also had and died from).

(By the way - I also have tendency to strokes)

After my dads death last year in July I exprienced, that I took on this bad and evil temper I saw at my dad (rudimentally I had a disposition to this, even before he dies) - I also took on the tendency of becoming dependent in a extreme way (as if dependency would be a kind of inner call) - .... - in short it seems to me, as if I would have become the beneficiary of my dad (I am the first borne of two brothers) - but not of the good things - the bad and cumbering stuff only.

After my dad´s death I didn´t get anything (except old clothes my mom ofered me) - but no heritage. Instead of this I became dads spiritual heritage and I DON´T WANT IT!!!!

At the same time I also don´t wana accuse or disrespect my dad. I ask the Lord Jesus to forgive me and him!

-I got heavy problems with smoking and internet pornography
-I got problems at my job - they mobbed me (startin up last year and with no ent ´till now) -
-One of my main problems: I DON´T RECOGNIZE MYSELFE ANYMORE!!! SOMETIMES IT SEEMS TO ME, AS IF I WOULD BE A STRANGER TO ME, AND AS IF THE TRUE I WOULD HAVE DIED B E F O R E MY DAD DIED.

(the wife of an american christian friend of mine had had a dream last year, that I would have DIED - and her husbynd and another friend of us would come to Munich, seeking after me - and that people would tell them, that I died recently...

-I got a deaf and dumb spirit and a spirit of slumber.

-My Landlord is Catholic - he blelieves in the Queen of heavens and in this house is a spiritual athmosphere like in a cemetry. Everywhere on the walls there are hanging dried bunches of Roses - the athmosphere takes so much power away from me - and I somehow can´t leave.

I would be VERY blessed and happy if you could pray in my case and if you would like to answer!!

Since it is vitally important for me since I don´t know, how to continue living. I know, that I also have some responsibility for my life - well - I try to take it - if possible. In some cases I am hiding - this is true!! Particulary concerning my financial situation, my living-circumstances.

Sometimes I also realize, that I am fighting against my own.

QUESTIONS FOR ERIC GONDWE
Hello! My name is Christoffer and Im from sweden!

I have some questions conserning Warfare and Deliverance ministry.

1. Is deliverance of evil spirits (or influences) something that can happened over a time without notecing it, through learning to trust in God, geting things sorteted out with a psychoterapeut or by understanding more of Gods love/grace etc (through teachings)? Does it allways have to be a whole lot of shouting and you know... maybe deliverance ministry is a much bigger deal than just rebukning spirits?

2. Do you know about Graham Powewll (who's is a very nice guy) teaching and what do you thinka about that from an evangelical view?

3. What is important to think about if you feel lika the lord has put deliverance/healing and help people to get to know his overflowing grace and love on your heart?

Im going to buy your book as fast as possible!

Dear Christoffer,
Thank you for writing and taking the right approach - to buy the book. Much prayer, fasting, time and effort resulted in the immense biblical principles being shared in the books. All three answers can be answered by reading the books, including what Graham Powell teaches.

I’ve not read any of his books or material but if you have and you read any of my books on spiritual warfare and deliverance principles you’ll know where he stands. My books cover on the do’s and don’ts, what works and what doesn’t, what’s biblical and what’s not, thus enabling believers to distinguish biblical principles from erroneous teachings.

Third Editions are now available in two separate books, one on Spiritual Warfare Principles and another on Christian Deliverance Principles.

Another book, Healing the Wounded Spirit will be out soon. It came of a chapter in the book on deliverance principles after the content became too extensive for a single chapter.

This is the day the Lord has made. Let us rejoice and be glad in it -- and I am! Finding your website is like finding a stream in the desert. I am praying, after reading many posts and your kind and discerning responses, that I may find answers at last. I have been a follower of Jesus for many years, but to look at my life -- who would know? I pray that God will protect anyone who reads this from harm -- I have been aware of the presence of God in my life since I was a young child, and I believe it was He who preserved me during all the times I was sexually abused as a child. The results of this abuse have continued to follow me through the next 50 years, although God has been faithful to me at all times. I was at one time married to a once godly man, who fell away and is now a Buddhist. We have two children, and both professed faith in Christ at a young age. One is a follower yet, and the other is yoked to an unbeliever. So why am I here? I know God intends so much more for my life. I believe He wants to me to be victorious. I believe in my heart that he wants me healthy, happy, my body to be his temple -- and pleasing to Him and to me-- I have been so besought with sexual sin in the past. I have confessed and repented, confessed and repented. I have remained apart from men for the past three years. Is it possible that God could ever heal my sexual self? Is it possible that God could ever lead me into a positive relationship with a man that brings Him glory, and does not leave me feeling defiled, demeaned, and dismembered? Is there hope for such deliverance? Is there any hope that God could deliver me from my lying tongue? It seems to simply serve to make me look like I am surviving better than I am -- so I sound like I am successful when inside I am floundering. I have attempted to hurt myself in the past -- all the while crying out to God to help me. At tmes I can get so very close to my Heavenly Father -- and then something happens, and you would think I had joined the Unbeliever's side all over again. I am failing miserably at spiritual warfare, and I feel I need deliverance from my lying tongue, my sexual sin, my financial failures, my low self-esteem. I want so much to be a reflection of a glorious, victorious Jesus -- He really has done so much for me -- and my life looks like a disaster. Where do I begin? Back on my knees? That's usually the first place to start...

I sing in a southern gospel group and we continually fight with spiritual warfare. People just love to cause trouble and the more we're blessed the worse it gets. I truely believe in the word of God but need a little assistance.

I am a christian who was very luke warm for a number of years. I also fell into extreme fear in my life through a very bad experience I had while in college. Ever since then I have had chronic headaches. I have begun to recognize that these headaches are demonic because often I am attacked by a demon in the night that "pins" me down in my sleep. I awake the next day with a terrible headache. I have recently, turned my heart back to Jesus wholeheartedly, and am pursuing a faith filled life however these demonic attacks have increased. I believed this to be because the devil is mad at my turning back to the Lord. I have tried all the various methods taught including rebuking the demon, pleading the blood of Jesus, etc. but without success thus far. I am not sure what to do but have read your website with interest. When I am being pinned down by this demonic influence what should I be doing? Should I not call on the name of Jesus for help? Is is unscriptural to plead his blood over me when the attack comes? I am interested in your thoughts on this. Thanks.

May God the Father and the Deliverer from all demonic works fight your battles. May he equip you with all understanding in doing your part of positioning yourself to enable him to fight for you.

We hope you've been taking the time to go through our online resources and books on spiritual warfare and deliverance principles. We trust you'll find answers to your questions. We're only to briefly address matters here.

Your question: When I am being pinned down by this demonic influence what should I be doing?

Answer: Keep focusing on God as your deliverer, walking uprightly, walking in love, forgiveness, charity, and so on.

God is our deliverer from all demonic works. "Deliver us from the evil one," Matthew 6:12-13 (NIV, ASV, NKJV, BBE). We're to keep seeking his intervention as Christians in times of trouble. We're also to search for any doorways that may be allowing some demonic works to operate in our lives.

Your question: Should I not call on the name of Jesus for help?

Answer: Most certainly. It is through Christ that we're able to receive God's intervention. That's why we pray in Jesus' name. So it's scriptural to call on the name of Jesus for help, anytime, anywhere.

Your question: Is it unscriptural to plead his blood over me when the attack comes?

Answer: Yes it's unscriptural to plead the blood of Jesus over yourself. However, however, however (to make emphasis) there is nothing wrong with doing it. It is unscriptural in the sense that it's not in the bible. The bible commissions Christians to take communion (breaking the bread and the wine/water) symbolizing Christ's redemptive work, our partaking of his nature, etc. Taking communion is biblical and thus has spiritual value in the spirit realm.

Pleading the blood of Jesus over ourselves is not in the bible and likely has no spiritual value in the spirit realm. It's just a mere ritual. However, however, however (to make emphasis again) there is nothing wrong with doing it.

The doctrine of pleading the blood of Jesus over ourselves likely came as a result of some believers in the body of Christ taking principles on rituals of blood sacrifices in the Old Testament and assuming they apply to the New Testament. In the Old Testament they sacrificed animals as ultimate sacrifices in order receive God's mercy, intervention and fellowship. Sometimes the blood was sprinkled on priests and other consecrated items. Because Jesus became our blood sacrifice some in the body of Christ assume we're to invoke his blood to ensure his blood is covering our lives.

Please read more on this topic, even from bible encyclopedias, because it'll help you understand the place of the blood of Jesus in our lives. There people out there speaking out of emotions showing they've not read the bible on matters they're using emotions.

Having said that you're not in any danger pleading the blood of Jesus over yourself. It is when you begin to use the blood of Jesus to go after evil spirits that you basically set yourself up for needless harm. While evil spirits were defeated by Christ's work and his shedding of his blood they know the boundaries that Christ's blood applies in the spirit realm. They also know the boundaries that we have legal grounds to directly confront them.

When we cross our boundaries and assume we're divinely empowered to directly confront demons outside our boundaries is when trouble starts. The spirit realm is a realm that is governed by more laws than the laws we have as humans on earth. Breaking spiritual laws is not a wise thing especially when evil spirits can easily take advantage for a violation.

Please arm yourself with appropriate information on matters you're confronting. It is knowing the truth that sets us free. "You will know the truth, and the truth will set you free," John 8:32.

Evil spirits love to take advantage in areas we're ignorant. Ignorance is an open door for them to feast on us. "My people are destroyed from lack of knowledge," Hosea 4.6.
